The TAM TrainingHub is launching the Treasure Box — an intramural funding competition open to all TAM PhD and Postdocs. If you have a project idea that pushes into new territory, connects people across labs or institutions, or tests something you wouldn't otherwise get to explore, this is your chance.

Who can apply
- You are enrolled as a PhD or postdoctoral researcher at a TAM institution.
- Your project addresses core research questions of TAM — interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches are strongly encouraged.
- Teaming up with a colleague from another TAM institution is not required, but highly recommended.
- No minimum enrolment time — you can apply from day one of your time in TAM.
How to apply
- A research proposal (max. 2 pages): scientific question, methodology, interdisciplinary dimension, expected outputs, and a short supervisor endorsement.
- A budget plan (max. 1 page): itemised costs up to €5,000 with brief justification.
- Merge both into a single PDF and send it by email before the deadline.
Review process
All applications are checked for formal eligibility by the TrainingHub Coordinator, then evaluated scientifically by the TAM Quality Assurance Committee. Funded projects are selected by the TAM Steering Committee / Directorate. Applicants are notified in September 2026.
